Yes, I am aware of these 'serious' commentators, and just worked through a Robert J. Lifton series on Trump, narcissism, and authoritarian behavior. The same cant has been coming out of the arm-chair therapist world for three years.
I wouldn't disagree that Trump has narcissistic traits, but, I don't see why these same people don't ascribe a similar constellation of defects to his adversary, who kinda didn't bother to actively campaign because she was so convinced of her evident superiority as a candidate.
I tend to watch the Clintons and the DNC through a legal lens. Have been watching forensic accountants deconstruct the Clinton Foundation pay for play scheme (massive). "The emails" tie into this.
Still haven't 'heard' that the Podesta/DNC emails were inauthentic, and if they were not, the content was so damning that it matters not who hacked or leaked them. (Whole thing reminds me of the spouse who is caught cheating and who then attacks the neighbor who spilled the beans.)
Have been following the lawsuit filed by Florida attorneys (LIBERALS) against the DNC, and with regard to misappropriation of donations to the Sanders campaign.
Still cannot see how the purchase of 20,000 of FACEBOOK ads by "Russian agents" had anything to do with swaying election results.
Also, continue to ask Trump-phobes to state clearly what are the statements he has made that are racist, misogynistic, xenophobic, homophobic (and, he has made a few), but I don't get answers.
Recall my own intense dislike of George W. Bush, but do not recall that I seethed about every aspect of his person, 24/7; his hair, his diet, his every choice of words.
Construing the constituencies of candidates disliked by the LEFT as cults has been a standard tactic, and it is getting old.
Ron Paul got the same treatment, and I struggle to see any similarity between a mild-mannered gynecologist and Donald Trump.
Simple solution: Run better candidates!

The solution is simple, run a better candidate.
