I told the people who were in the room when they recruited me that I was on medication for depression, and that I was a chronic insomniac, (I was still sort of trying to get out of it, but these things were true). They shrugged it off and said that it didn't matter. One person who was there told me that the same had been true of her, but that she had benefitted, and that I should do it anyway,
The thing that struck me about the O.P. here was how they had added on the vague statement about, "or in other activities or events related to the Programme." There was similar wording in the one that I signed, and I recall asking them what those would be. As I recall, their answer was very non-specific, and told me nothing, Like an idiot, I signed anyway. I didn't wish to disappoint my "friend," especially since I owed her the down payment.
