In reading this, even in the last part where they give some pretense of addressing it, they try make it appear as if you were the problem, while completely ignoring what was done by your assailant.
This seems to be the typical mentality. I understand how they want people to "let go" of unpleasant experiences, but some things really have to be dealt with before you can, or even should, let go of them. These groups love to talk about accountability, but they only seem to require it of normal, law-abiding people. Rapists, liars and thieves get away with whatever, while the victim is held accountable and judged for their reaction. It's a sick mind game, where ethics are turned upside down.
