LGAT Recruiting Update

This is something I have noticed over the past few years:

The metaphysical fairs I attended in the past were a nice, eclectic mix of spiritual practices.  They still have a mix, but now there are many Landmark, (and probably other LGAT), people showing up there and operating booths, as readers and healers. I would not be surprised to see them try to recruit their clients.  Some will be easy to spot, because they advertise that they are Landmark graduates in their bios, which are printed in the program. Even when I would sit down with someone who did not advertise this, much of what I would hear seemed "Landmark flavored."

At the last fair I attended, Scientologists also had a table, with copies of "Dianetics."  I wasn't familiar with PSI, but I think someone had mentioned that in the program, as well.

I was in the program for almost a year before the most egregious violations were done to me, and I had told them that I was leaving. The worst of it will not be shown right away.  I was somewhat critical, but generally cooperative, and not disruptive. One of my main criticisms had been around the "choice" exercise, (in which an illusion of choice is presented as a choice).

It pains me to have to say this, but please be careful around these fairs. They can be great fun, but pay attention to who you're talking to.
