Re: Staying friends with a Landmarkian?

I hope this is the case, kdag.

Years ago, I read a book by Martin Amis called, "The Information". That title, at least, kinda resonates with me, now.

In thinking about my so-called field in terms of "The Information", I note it seems to only go one-way.

Many coach training programs seem to start with LGAT exercises that have people disclosing to strangers, and their 'trainers' the most intimate details of their lives.

As for the work that gets done, the client work, reports on individuals are filed with mysterious third parties. One never knows what happens with "The Information".

If there are issues with clients, or coaches they are handled in unilateral fashion, with lot's of "The Information" disclosed.

Tips, techniques, technologies come down from 'on high', with no feedback ever requested.

So, one could look at the executive coaching field as one big "collateral" gathering enterprise.

I am NOT KIDDING!!!
