If someone writes material that a reader finds confusing or annoying, here
are some things to do.
Trust your gut. Large Group Awareness Trainings, especially Landmark, utilize
jargon. The jargon often contains grammatical violations that have a thought
stopping effect, that throws outsiders off balance or induces vague or not so
vague feelings of annoyance. Or the jargon uses familiar words but in unusual
ways. Insiders who know the jargon feel powerful and part of an elite tribe. The rest of us look blank or vaguely pissed off and this gives the jargon users
a delicious feeling of empowerment.
An empowerment based on mind fuck.
In the early days of this message board, we had at least one person who claimed to
offer assistance to those who had been harmed by Landmark. A former Landmark insider who contributed to this discussion identified what was going on.
Always feel free to contact Rick Ross. If anyone ever receives a private message
that seems strange or worse, do not hesitate to contact Mr. Ross and send a copy of the offending item.

Next, click "all posts" .
That gives the list of all the items, plus the different
discussion venues. That way, a reader can look at all the material that person has
written and see whether there are any inconsistencies -- and where there is
evidence of bad manners.
